Meet Conor - Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Therapist
Hi, I’m Conor
I'm an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the AASW, with over 10 years of experience supporting people through therapy and supervision. What drew me to this work was simple - a genuine connection with people, and a belief in the value of really being heard.
My approach is to create a welcoming, unhurried atmosphere where you feel comfortable to lead the way. I see therapy as your space, not mine, and I'm there to walk alongside you rather than direct the path. I work especially well with people who are ready for change and looking for someone to reflect with - a steady presence as you work through what's on your mind.
Who I work with
Over the course of my career I've worked with a wide range of individuals across community, clinical, and specialist settings. This breadth of experience means I'm comfortable and confident working alongside people with complex and varied presentations.
Anxiety, depression, and life transitions
These are among the most common reasons people seek therapy, and among the most treatable. Whether you're dealing with persistent anxiety, low mood, or navigating a major life change - a relationship breakdown, career shift, grief, or identity question - I can help you find a way through.
People with disability and chronic health conditions
Living with disability or a long-term health condition can affect every dimension of life. Identity, relationships, work, and sense of self. I offer a compassionate, informed space that takes the whole of your experience seriously, not just the diagnosis.
First responders and emergency services workers
The psychological toll of frontline work is well documented but often underacknowledged. I have specialist experience working with police, paramedics, firefighters, and other emergency services personnel navigating trauma, burnout, moral injury, and the unique pressures of high-stakes roles.
LGBTIQ+ individuals
Care here is genuinely affirming, not just in policy but in practice. I work with LGBTIQ+ individuals across the full spectrum of identity and experience, including those navigating coming out, relationships, family dynamics, gender identity, and the compounding effects of minority stress.
People who have experienced trauma
Whether your trauma is recent or longstanding, single-incident or complex and repeated, therapy here moves at your pace. I am trained in trauma-informed approaches that prioritise safety, choice, and control at every stage of the work.
Child protection and out-of-home care
With direct experience working within child protection systems, I understand the profound impact that early adversity, family separation, and out-of-home care can have across a lifetime. I work with adults carrying these histories with sensitivity and without judgement.
People experiencing psychosis and serious mental illness
I have experience working alongside individuals living with psychosis, schizophrenia, and other serious mental health conditions, including in community mental health and hospital settings. I bring both clinical knowledge and genuine warmth to this work.

If anything here resonates, I'd love to hear from you. The first step is a brief, no-obligation phone consultation so we can get a sense of whether we're a good fit. There's no pressure, finding the right therapist matters, and I'd rather point you in the right direction than have you feel stuck in the wrong place.
